UI: How to search products

The user interface (UI) allows you to search for products in your Learning Locker in two different ways. Also, you can hide and unhide products to keep your Learning Locker uncluttered. For further information, please look at the article “Hide and unhide products

How to search products in your Learning Locker:

1) You may use the search field under the Learning Locker toolbar.

To search in this field, enter the name (or part of the name) of the product you are looking for. You may use both letters and numbers. Click on the enter key and the products that don´t contain the search text will disappear, and you will be able to see only the products searched for.

2) You may also search for products by using the “Filters” option. To do this click on the “Filters” button on the Learning Locker toolbar.

3) You can filter by three search criteria: Type and Status and Vendor.

The Type filters include Practice Test Online, Practice Test Download (offline mode), Assessment, Certkit, eBook, Practice Lab, Flexkey, Custom Assessment and eLearning. You may select as many checkboxes as you want because the search includes each product type you choose.

The Status filters include Active, New, Expiring Soon, Expired, Limit Approaching and Limit Met. You can only select one checkbox, because the search will only filter by one status type.

The Vendor filters include Microsoft, Comptia, SCP, Oracle, HRCI, Cisco, VMware, PMI, HP ATA. You may select as many checkboxes as you want because the search includes each product type you choose.

4) Once the searching criteria is made, click on “Apply” button at the bottom of the page. Then, you can see in your Learning Locker the products that match with your search criteria.

Note that if you want to make another search or want to see the previous products in your Learning Locker, you should open again the “Filters” box and click on “Reset” button, to uncheck all the checkboxes.

Finally, you can mix both ways of search, we mean, you can apply a Filter criteria and after that, make a search by name. This is a very useful tool.
